Most of our vertical liquid level indicators are ingeniously designed for versatility, allowing alterations from normally open to normally closed with a simple retainer removal and float flip. In the normally open mode, the switch remains OFF until the float is buoyed by rising liquid, contacting the elastic ring and switching to the ON position. Once activated, this initiates the automated emptying of the tank until it's signaled to stop, prompting the system to refill. This mechanism ensures the tank's fluid level remains consistently optimal, never too low. The applications for this straightforward but ingenious switch are virtually limitless.
